Ask your uncle or your elder brother if he happens to works in an IT company about the current IT trends and he will tell you the real picture. Freshers those who haven’t kept up to date with cutting-edge technology might be having trouble in getting the dream job which they always craved for! Interestingly Web 2.0, Open source and mobile technologies are currently HOT FAVOURITE among employers but they often have trouble finding qualified candidates and right profiles for those jobs. India’s top 3 MNC Software Companies have adopted Open Source Technologies and are looking out of individuals. Wipro has already announced that they are set to hire 5000 individuals with the first quarter of 2010. So what’s the current trend among employers?
What does it mean to “Engineers?”
What does it mean to “Non Engineering Graduates?”
The truth is there no “Golden Time” as such to enter the IT Industry. People during late nineties harnessed skills in Java and Mainframe which helped them get good jobs in major MNC companies. People during 2006-2007 got into SAP “Buzz” and many were very successful. Its all about doing the right thing at the right time….because there is a ALWAYS a right time to do the right thing.
All the best…
